This camping site is actually on lake Mergozzo, about 1km from the much larger Lake Maggiore. We were glad that we chose to stay on this smaller lake because the larger lake has a busy road going around it so this site was much more pleasant and quiet. There is a small supermaket on site, plus a cafe, restaurant and ice-cream stall.
